This controller is an automatic operation management controller designed for configuring small-scale primary reverse osmosis water production systems. With the addition of a small number of electrical components, automatic operation of the reverse osmosis equipment can be achieved. It has five digital input (D1) ports and four output (DO) control ports with five different states. It is a small and economical controller.
Waterless Protection Function
Used for monitoring the water source, when the raw water supply is interrupted (low water level in the storage tank, too low pressure in the pipeline), to prevent the system from idling. The controller stops the entire RO system operation, and the “LOWFEEDPRESS” indicator on the panel lights up, while the buzzer sounds. Afterward, the controller will continuously check the waterless switch. If the water supply pressure or level returns to normal, the controller will restart the operation of the RO system.
Low-pressure Protection Function
When the pretreatment system is being flushed or regenerated, and the security filter becomes dirty or blocked, it cannot provide normal water pressure to the RO system (i.e., insufficient low pressure). In this case, the controller temporarily shuts down the entire RO system, and the “LOWPRESS” indicator lights up while the buzzer sounds.
Afterward, the controller will continuously check the low-pressure protection switch. When the pressure recovers after 1 minute, the RO control system will perform the first trial startup and run the RO system.
If the system encounters low-pressure protection again, the operation of the RO system will be suspended again. The program is set to attempt three trial startups. If the three attempts are unsuccessful, the system enters a deadlock protection state, and the low-pressure protection indicator on the panel remains on, indicating the reason for the shutdown. The system will wait for manual handling and can be unlocked by pressing the reset button before restarting.
High-pressure Protection Function
In some systems that use high-pressure protection, if the system experiences overpressure, the controller will proactively shut down the entire RO system, and the “HIGHPRESS” indicator light will turn on. After one minute of high pressure being eliminated, the controller performs the first trial operation. If the outlet pressure remains overpressure, the system will enter the protection state again. The high-pressure protection program is set to attempt three trial startups. If the three attempts cannot restore normal operation, the system will enter a deadlock protection state. Meanwhile, the buzzer will sound.
If the system does not use high-pressure protection, short-circuit the terminal (COM+HP).
Pure Water Tank Liquid Level Control Function
When the liquid level of the pure water tank reaches the preset low level, the controller immediately starts the RO system to produce water until the liquid level of the pure water tank reaches the predetermined high level, and the system completes membrane flushing automatically, entering standby mode.
Membrane Flushing Function
When the protection device and state are operating normally, the system performs the first membrane flushing each time it is powered on, and the membrane flushing must be performed each time low liquid level water is produced until the water in the product water tank is full, and the membrane flushing is automatically completed.”
